Tanya Sam captured the hearts of millions last season when she made her debut as Nene Leakes’ friend on Real Housewives of Atlanta. She will be a part of the upcoming installment but has stepped down to a smaller role.

When a fan tweeted their respect for Sam turning down a part as a peachholder, another Twitter user asked what the difference was from being one.

She explained: ‘Hundreds of hours spent filming that takes away from my other work building business and helping others build businesses like @TheAmbitionFundand @TechSquare #buildsomethingfromnothing #rhoa.’

Instead of spending her hours filming full-time, the former nurse is focusing on making way for minorities in the tech industry. Recently, she spoke with Bravo about her work that will benefit others.

She is launching The Ambition fund which she explains: ‘We are leveling the playing field by intentionally going out beyond the traditional circles to provide underrepresented entrepreneurs a chance at developing capital, mentorship, and resources for their business.’

However, that doesn’t mean that she won’t be featured in some capacity. Tanya invited the ladies to Canada where they filmed for an event that will be shown on RHOA.

This was around the same time that Dennis McKinley allegedly re-proposed to Porsha Williams after their alleged breakup made headlines everywhere.

Last season, Tanya went head to head with Nene Leakes, this installment — she is rumored to be feuding with Kenya Moore.

In August, Moore ranted to her Instagram followers that there was someone among the group who was trying to pick a fight with her to stay relevant.

Days later, it was reported that Tanya and Kenya got into a spat.

‘Kenya and Tanya got into a little argument, it wasn’t anything serious just a few jabs being sent back and forth. Kenya started getting personal – talking about how Tanya’s boyfriend will never marry her. And she said that Tanya should have frozen her eggs, now it’s too late for her to have a kid.’
